Birmingham law firm set for office move

The new premises for a newly formed solicitors agency is set to open, as the construction company working on the site gets ready to sign off on the building.

The handover of the Two Snowhill site comes shortly after the merger of Wragge & Co with Lawrence Graham was finalised. That has created Wragge Lawrence Graham & Co, which will move into its new eight office floors in the 14-storey site. Combined, this allows for 177,600 square feet of space in the redeveloping central business district of Birmingham.

The design of the office has been specially created to ensure that the legal teams at the firm have the best of environments. Working in accordance with the best practices of business design,  office partitioning  office partitioning has delivered open plan space for about 1,300 employees.

The office design has also included provision for growth of the company in the short to long-term future, with the boss of the new firm, David Fennel, commenting:

“We’re thrilled with our stunning new premises and the level of quality. They’re impressive, comfortable surroundings; offering best-in-class support for our hard-working people.

“Two Snowhill is another important investment in our unique model – with substantial breadth and depth of expertise and resource in Birmingham, London and internationally.”

Fennel said the design, which incorporates a brand new client suite, private rooms, a fully appointed business lounge and an on-site restaurant, is all about giving high-level advice.

The chief executive added that the offices are also aimed at attracting the best new legal talent, with the creation of an attached training academy.
